evin Crowley was born on August 13, 1963 in Springfield, Missouri. He grew up mostly in Houston, Missouri, where he graduated from High School in 1981. There he played football and also played the tuba in band.

From that point, he went to college at Southwest Missouri State University (SMSU) in Springfield. He majored in Instrumental Music and received his BS in Ed degree in 1985. His first teaching job was Band Director at Alton, Missouri. This is where he met Christi Holman, and 6 months later, on July 25, 1987, they were married.

After being in Alton for 2 years, he accepted a band director position in Cabool, MO. He taught there for 6 years, in which time they had 2 children: Jordan Allen - July 25, 1991 & Emily Elizabeth - November 13, 1993. He was then recruited by Marshfield High School in 1995, where he is currently the Head Band Director & Head of the Music Department.

Shortly after moving to Marshfield, they expanded their family yet again: Jacob William was born on Uncle Bill's birthday, December 15, 1995. By this time, they figured out what was causing all those births and put a stop to it!

Christi also works for the school, as the Board Treasurer. Since she signs all the district's pay checks, Kevin hasn't seen one since.

Kevin is also very active as a web master for three different organizations: the Crowley home page you're viewing now, the Marshfield Band Page, and the Southcentral Music Educators Association, in which he currently serves as President and voting member on the board of Missouri Music Educators Association.
